Cornell sails on the southern end of Lake Cayuga in Ithaca, NY, from a brand new sailing center on the east shore of the lake. The sailing area there is about a mile wide and is open for many miles to the north. As a result, a northerly breeze can be very strong and produce big waves.  The Cornell team has a fleet of 18 420s and assorted other boats.
